Easy Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

Don't you just love Betty Crocker? Man I don't know how we in the gluten free world made it without the mixes she supplies.

I recently read a recipe for Cinnamon Roll pancakes and I woke up this morning REALLY wanting some.  The only catch was I felt lazy, imagine that, and didn't want to work hard at making them. Soooo I got out my old faithful bisquick and this is what I did.

Now, I don't know if I will ever make them from scratch because they were fast, easy and GREAT, just what I wanted. I ate them with no added syrup but the options of how to top these jewels are endless.

Easy Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

1 cup GF Bisquick
1 heaping TBS mayonnaise (instead of oil)
1/8 cup of buttermilk
1 lg egg
water to make consistency of pancakes
1 tsp of cinnamon
After all is mixed well pour onto hot griddle and drizzle with your favorite gluten free caramel topping or syrup.

Top with more caramel syrup or regular pancake syrup.

If you want make a powdered sugar glaze and top with it. YUM

Thanks for stopping by y'all and please come again soon!

  1. My friend/room-mate was just told that she has to go on a gluten-free diet, and she is really upset about it. We always eat together, so I'm trying to eat more gluten-free foods now too as a support for her. I was looking for some yummy recipes that I could make with her. I think she will like those, one of her favourite desserts were cinnamon rolls. Thanks for sharing :)

Oh and do you have any advice for me on how I can help her adjust to this new diet? Thanks
