Having the Time of My Life

There has not been much time for blogging as we have a new baby in the family and Gammy is busy helping out with big sister.

Bennett Cole was born Friday, March 2nd weighing 6 lbs and 6 oz and 21 in long. God has blessed us greatly his big sister was around 4-weeks early and so was Bennett but both have been perfectly healthy babies. I guess Mom just grows them quicker than most. ha

Big sister still doesn't know what to think about baby Bennett she asks him to play with her all the time but he just sleeps. She gets excited when he opens his eyes but other than that she's too busy to notice what he does. We are praying baby Bennett is a calm easy going child as big sister is active enough for both of them.

I'll be posting more great recipes in the near future but right now I'm spending all my time giving hugs and kisses.

A Continuation of our Christmas Story

On the way home from Missouri I guess I had the stomach flu. I thought at first I had been glutened but I was sick twenty four hours and then days after that. I called my daughter and told her due to my feeling sooo bad I wasn't going to be able to cook for Christmas Day as in the past. We went to their home early so that I could help her some but she and Ben had it all under control. They provided us with great meals and we mostly played with Punkin which we loved. So I felt bad that I didn't cook any of the dishes I always cook at Christmas but you know what? We made it just fine and I gained back the three pounds that I lost during my sickness.

We attended the Christmas Eve service at their church. They attend a really neat church and we love visiting there.

After church Ben made us all waffles for supper, here is my gluten free waffle, it was great!

On New Years Honey and I were home alone but after the going during the holidays we enjoyed this time too. We just relaxed, ate and watched football.

Holiday Preview

We were blessed to be able to keep Austin in Greenwood for the first time over the weekend.

Now I am busy preparing for my other angels to arrive for Thanksgiving, I can't wait to see them. We will greatly miss Sarah, Eric and Lida who will not be joining us this year. But we are going to be able to see them soon.

So stay tuned in the near future for lots more photos of all my angels, each one is soooo special to me and PePaw, we just can't get enough!

Our weekend with Austin just a little taste of our holiday preview and what it will be like with our other three babies.

Pepaw's do amazing things with their granchildren.

She loved the apples dipped in caramel but notice her cookie cereal. She really liked them dipped in caramel. Pepaw's can also be bad influences to their grandchildren.

Making her own pizza for supper.

I had to explain that we needed to cook it first. The cheese was frozen yuk!

She was so excited when it came out of the oven and ate really good.

Cool Pepaw!

When all else fails it's Elmo time!

So yummy!!!!

Yes, we stayed in our Pajamas all day on Saturday and why not she wanted to and so Pepaw and I joined her.

Enter Alice in Wonderland

Since finding out Ashia is expecting I have been spending a lot of time there helping her out when she is sick or has a doctors appointment. Last week I went and watched Punkin for her to go to the dentist and then I spent the night with them so that I could go take care of some business in Columbus the next morning.

I love my grand-babies

Ash took this photo while I was leaving.

It's nice to be loved but this tears my heart out!

I'm leaving tomorrow to go spend the day with them and pick up Honey. I hope this doesn't happen again.

I was blessed in being able to attend Punkin's second birthday celebration last weekend. Ash does such a great job putting these things together, I really think she should be a party planner. I'm sure she researches to get ideas but the decorations were done totally by her. ENJOY (individual photos in album at bottom of my blog)

To begin her day Punkin get's to open a gift in bed.

Are you Immune to apologizing?

Have you ever heard of this name brand? It is only sold in home trunk shows and there are only so many pieces made when their stock runs out they do not make more of the same. Therefore you can buy and never worry about your frinds wearing the same thing.

A while back I bought a pants and top at one of Ash's shows and I love it. I am serious it feels like I am wearing my pj's in public I could wear it everyday all day plus no matter how many times I wash it, it always looks the same.

The trunk show after that I went intending on buying but to be honest I didn't like the collection.

Last week I went and spent a few days at Ben and Ash's to help out with Punkin while Ash hosted another show. This time I went thinking I may buy and I may not it's according to what they've got and the minute Ash started unpacking the box I knew that I was in trouble. I loved sooo many pieces that I couldn't wait to try them on. After trying all of them on whether I liked the looks are not I just wanted to see how they felt on me I decided on a jumper and tee. Their tees are the bomb I have never felt any like them.

So this is what I bought:

I bought the Dear Henry jumper

and I'm pairing it with the Aquarious tee

The photos do not do them justice, the jumper has this cute Matilda Jane fabric ties on one side and I'll be able to wear it with many different tops this fall and winter.

Here a couple of my favorite photos from my time in Starkvegas.

We hung the clothes all around the house for ladies and children to have a look.

I was trying to make up my bed and get ready to get in it but I couldn't keep Punkin out of it.

Punkin has tasted Oreos and LOVES them, well who doesn't?

Punkin wasn't feeling well during my visit there so I spent a lot of time rocking and loving on here. What a joy it won't be long and she won't let me do this.

She had a few times that she was really mischievous and got into trouble. One of the sweetest practices Ben and Ash have is when she's bad they make her go around and apologize to everyone involved. It just melts my heart when that sweet baby comes to me with big crocodile tears to say she's sorry. Then I was thinking this morning how many times do we as adults NEED to apologize for something we have said or done and yet we refuse to? It's like when we get older we become immune to apologizing and that's really bad. I think we need to get back into this practice to live at peace with our family and friends.
